Glencoe firefighters responded to 986 Skokie Ridge Drive around 8:30 PM on Friday, September 4th, 2015, after reports of smoke coming from the house. Upon arrival, the incident was immediately upgraded to a Code 4 due to a working fire, and then escalated to a Box Alarm within 10 minutes to bring in additional units. The fire was located in the basement and along the rear walls of the home. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Below are some photos and a short video capturing the scene.
