The Bridgeview Fire Department in Mabas Division 21 is currently not listed on the site, but thanks to Martin Nowak, who has shared a collection of photos from Bridgeview Station 2, we can now get a closer look at some of the department's equipment and facilities. These images offer a rare glimpse into the daily operations and history of this local fire service.
One of the photos shows the exterior of Bridgeview Station 2, giving viewers a sense of the building’s appearance and atmosphere. Another image highlights Engine 405, a 2003 Crimson unit mounted on a Spartan Metro Star chassis. This apparatus is a key part of the department’s firefighting capabilities.
Additionally, there’s a photo of Ambulance 406, a 2012 Ford F-450 4×4 Type I ambulance built by Wheeled Coach. It serves as a vital resource for emergency medical services in the area. A Brush Unit, known as Brush 407, is also featured—built on a 2001 Chevy Silverado pickup, it plays an essential role in wildfire response.
Another shot captures Ambulance 426, a spare Type III ambulance from Road Rescue, built on a 1999 Ford E-450 chassis. It’s kept ready in case of emergencies or equipment failure. Engine 415, a 1986 KME Darley model, showcases the department’s older but still functional fleet.
There’s also a photo of an old Type II ambulance that is used by the Bridgeview Emergency Management Agency (EMA), highlighting the department’s broader community support. Lastly, a sign outside the station honors the FDNY, reflecting the strong ties between local and city firefighters.
