ICT research and development of power grid inspection intelligent analysis decision system passed the acceptance

On October 30, 2018, the State Grid's Ministry of Information and Communication and the Ministry of Equipment held an acceptance meeting in Beijing for the Intelligent Analysis and Decision System for Transportation Inspection (Phase I). Representatives from various departments, including the State Grid Transportation Inspection Department, State Grid ICT, Sichuan Electric Power, Shanxi Electric Power, Shandong Electric Power, Henan Electric Power, Jilin Electric Power, Answer Media Group, State Grid Customer Service Center, Beijing Electric Power Trading Center, State Grid Office, and the Equipment Department, attended the event. After a thorough review, the expert panel confirmed that Nanrui Xintong Technology’s intelligent analysis and decision-making system for power grid inspection had completed all contractual obligations and was approved for acceptance. During the meeting, the project team presented the system’s development process and highlighted its core features and user interface. Over the course of one year, the system successfully integrated a big data platform and achieved the first system-level application of 2D and 3D GIS. It also introduced a meteorological numerical forecasting system to provide detailed environmental warnings for grid equipment. The system supports interactive design for professional users, visualizes the "three-span" transmission lines, and builds an efficient production command platform. Based on the "Internet +" concept, this intelligent analysis and decision-making system combines modern information technology—such as big data, cloud computing, and IoT—with traditional inspection practices. Its goal is to ensure the safe operation of power grid equipment and enhance the efficiency of transportation inspections. The system includes functions such as ontology-based platforms, environment awareness, active prediction, early warning, decision support, and intensive inspection control. It opens multiple information channels to collect management and operational data, integrating multi-source data from professional inspection systems. This helps strengthen the role of the production command center, promoting the integration of modern IT with traditional inspection methods. By focusing on key technical areas like equipment, channels, operations, maintenance, and production command intelligence, the system aims to build a comprehensive smart transportation inspection framework. This effort enhances equipment condition monitoring, improves inspection management, and boosts intrinsic safety across the grid.
