The open-type rescue boat is manufactured in compliance with the SOLAS amendments, including MSC.218(82), MSC.226(82), MSC.272(85), and MSC.274(85). The hull is made of fire-resistant fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP), and the space between the inner and outer hull is filled with polyurethane foam to ensure sufficient buoyancy. Even if part of the boat is submerged, the foam provides enough floatation to keep the boat afloat. The design allows the boat to self-right regardless of its position in the water.
