In May 2011, the number of vehicle diesel engines was 272,889 units, with sales of 309,695 units. Compared with April, both production and sales have declined.
From January to May, the cumulative output of vehicle diesel engines was 1,716,443 units, and the cumulative output over the same period was 1,750,258 units. The accumulative growth was -1.93% cumulative sales of 1,844,684 units, and cumulative sales volume was 1,805,786 units in the same period, with a cumulative growth of 2.15%.
Top five diesel engine manufacturers ranked
Guangxi Yuchai ranked first, with sales of 620,98 units, Weichai ranked second, sales of 30,327 units, FAW ranked third, sales of 30,190 units, total diesel sales of 28,947 units, and Dongfeng Motor sales of 20,895 units. The sales of the top five diesel engine companies in January to May all showed negative growth in varying degrees. However, Weichai and Dongfeng Motors have a clear and stable growth trend, which at the same time has brought new vitality to the growth of the sales volume of vehicle diesel engines in the coming June.
