Working fire in Vernon Hills, 9-5-14

The Countryside Fire Department was called to investigate smoke inside a townhouse at 15 Timber Lane in Vernon Hills on Friday, September 5th, 2014, around 9:30 PM. Upon arrival, the situation quickly escalated to a working fire. When I arrived, the fire was mostly under control. Two hose lines were deployed, and the Mundelein Quint 432 aerial ladder was positioned on the roof. There was no visible fire or smoke at that point. Both primary and secondary searches of the building were completed and found to be clear. The Red Cross was also contacted for assistance. I've attached some photos taken by me during the response.
