The original back-end database operations and foreground-oriented software are all FoxBase. The front-end operation window is compiled with FoxBase program. To expand the window content and change the window form, major changes must be made in the program, and the flexible changes in the operation today. The need to constantly modify the content of the front window is undoubtedly a big problem. Again, when looking for a car accessory, it is not always accurate. It takes time to page through. The above three points indicate that it is necessary to upgrade the front operation interface. Is it replaced with a database software with a good front-end interface or a new front-office operating software? Choosing the former is to rebuild the database, reprogramming it, and pushing it back; choosing the latter is to increase the front-end user interface software and make modifications and upgrades on the original basis. Considering the stability and continuity of management, the latter should be chosen.
An application system has front-end and back-end concept. I can use VB to write the front end of an application, responsible for the exchange with the user. Use this program to select the data items in the database and display them as I set. The FoxBase database management system itself serves as a back-end system, providing the data needed for front-end access.
I refer to the front-end VB application as the front-end system and back-end database software as the back-end system. For the back-end system, in order to meet the needs of the function expansion, many databases and index files need to be added. The main ones are plan database, plan change database, receivables database, accounts payable database, inventory analysis database, report loss database, and employee operation flow. The database, input tax database, and tax elimination database are not detailed here.
