The Chicago Heights Fire Department responded to a fire at a Walmart under construction on Saturday morning, February 6th. The incident was covered under a MABAS Box, and it appeared that the fire was caused by construction materials inside the building, not the structure itself. There were two aerial ladders deployed and ready, but no water was applied to the roof. I wasn’t allowed to get any closer than the construction fence, so all the photos here were taken from a distance. Still, I managed to capture a few shots of the responding units.
