Box Alarm in River Forest, 3-26-17

Lake and Park, just a short block from the firehouse. I heard there was a fatality in this fire. When I arrived, there wasn’t much to see, but I managed to get some good shots of the apparatus. The fire was in the basement and was quickly contained.

It's always interesting to see how quickly crews respond and manage these incidents. Even though the fire was small, it's still a reminder of how important it is to stay alert and prepared.
