The second unit, Rescue 235, is a brand-new 2010 Spartan Metro Star Alexis HDR. The squad is equipped with full hydraulic rescue tools, while the rescue unit has additional specialized equipment, including an air cascade system, TRT materials, and extensive technical rescue supplies.
Rescue 235, built by Alexis on a Spartan chassis, features a stubby, two-door Metro Star cab. Its sides are fully stocked with technical rescue gear. The hydraulic tools for vehicle extractions are stored on Squad 235, the first unit of the team. The rear door of the rescue unit is designed like a trailer ramp, allowing access to large lumber stored in the center. A folding ladder at the back provides access to top storage compartments. These units are essential for handling complex emergency situations in the community.
