**Product Description:**
This die casting mold is specifically designed for a European client who has extensive knowledge in die casting and demands high-quality molds. The mold is used to produce **five different parts**: three covers and two bottoms. To reduce production costs, the mold was built with **8 cavities** and **four interchangeable cores**, using just **one mold base**.
The design is quite complex, as **two of the covers require 16 lifters** to release undercuts, while **another cover needs 8 lifters**. To minimize polishing work before electroplating, the cavities are finished with a **high-gloss surface treatment**.
To ensure a long mold life of at least **500,000 cycles**, the **core material is Dievar steel (from ASSAB)**, hardened to HRC 48–52 after heat treatment. The **mold base is made of P20 steel**, with a hardness of HRC 28–32.
After two trial runs, the samples were approved, making this a successful project experience.
