**Nationwide Coils Participates in the Synergy 2021 Construction Forum**
At the Synergy 2021 Construction Forum held in Chicago, IL, Chris Wright, Chicago Branch Manager at Nationwide Coils, had the opportunity to present to a group of industry professionals. The event brought together VPs, project managers, and operations managers from across the construction sector, offering a valuable platform for networking and knowledge sharing.
Kathy Gausselin, Member Support Specialist at Synergy, reached out to Nationwide Coils to see if we would be interested in presenting. We were excited to participate, especially since Chris is based in the area and could connect directly with local attendees. The three-day event, held from July 25th to 27th, was an excellent chance to highlight what Nationwide Coils has to offer.
Before Chris took the stage, Brad Miller and Chalo Cipriano from ACIS provided an introduction. Brad praised Nationwide Coils for their reliable service, particularly after the Texas storm in February, and highlighted a recent project involving 30 coil changeouts completed without any issues. Chalo emphasized how our precise measurements and connection locations made installations smooth and efficient.

The HVAC industry faced challenges in 2021, especially with coil manufacturing lead times. However, Nationwide Coils has worked hard to support our clients, and we’re starting to see signs of recovery. It was rewarding to hear such positive feedback from Brad and Chalo, who shared it with the forum attendees.
Chris then presented on behalf of Nationwide Coils, explaining our services, team, and branch locations. A key question came up: “What about areas where you don’t have a representative?†We serve clients nationwide, including Puerto Rico, and use pictures, our advanced software, and a comprehensive database of coil drawings to ensure accuracy. If needed, we can also arrange site visits. Our team is always evaluating new locations for future branches to better serve those in less accessible regions.
In addition to the presentation, Nationwide Coils sponsored the break between sessions, treating attendees to snacks and refreshments. We’d like to thank the Synergy Group for organizing such a great event and for giving us the chance to connect with our clients. A piston ring is a metallic split ring that is attached to the outer diameter of a piston in an internal combustion engine or steam engine. The main functions of piston rings in engines are: Sealing the combustion chamber so that there is minimal loss of gases to the crank case. Piston rings maintain gas compression between the piston and the cylinder wall. Piston rings seal the cylinder so that combustion gas generated at the time of ignition does not leak into the opening between the piston and the cylinder.
