After more than a year, the Drilling Technology Research Institute of the Northern Petroleum Administration has successfully developed the SN-01 digital rotational viscometer.
The instrument's digital display test parameters, data transmission and new structure reached the domestic leading level, and obtained the national invention patent certificate in May this year.
Rotary viscometer is the main instrument for detecting the rheological properties of drilling fluid viscosity. Conventional viscometers use mechanical transmission and speed regulation, complex mechanisms, difficult parts processing, low accuracy of test and read data, and poor repeatability.
The SN-01 digital rotary viscometer uses a high-precision sensor to convert the analog quantity into an electrical signal, realizes the digital display output, and provides a variety of speed control, which improves the instrument test accuracy. The instrument also automatically tests shear and rheological parameters. The successful development of the instrument provides a new and effective test method for relevant laboratories and drilling sites.
