According to news from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, after China liberalized border import rubber policies in mid-June, Vietnamese rubber exports to China gradually resumed. In June, Vietnam exported 55,000 tons of rubber to China, an increase of 35,000 tons from the previous month. In the first six months, Vietnam exported 231,000 tons of rubber, of which rubber exports to China accounted for 63.6%.
For many years, China has been the largest export market in many rubber export markets in Vietnam. In 2009, Vietnam’s rubber exports to China reached 449,600 tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.6%, accounting for 67.6% of the total rubber exports.
