Solar Pump System Introduction:
Solar panels convert sunlight into electrical energy, which is then passed to the solar pump controller. The energy is used to power the pump. The solar controller/inverter stabilizes the power voltage and outputs it to drive the electric motor of the pump. If backup batteries (optional) are available, the pump controller can charge them. Batteries are used to store additional energy that can be used later when sunlight may not be sufficient to drive the pump. A water level detector/sensor is connected to the controller to protect the pump from running dry and to automatically turn it off when a water tank is full.
