At this year's IAA , Voith will launch its own product and service capabilities with the theme of " Efficient Driven Development ." The latest award-winning VIAB start-up retarding clutch, the award-winning SWR (rear water media retarder) retarder system and the DIWA.6 for urban buses and coaches were exhibited at Hall A14 in Hall 17 Automatic gearbox and exhibited recently developed VR115CT hydraulic retarder specially developed for the Chinese market, Voith LP725 and LP490 air compressors, 115HV hydraulic retarder remanufactured by Voith and Di Watts intelligent remote monitoring system. Award winning VIAB start retard clutch

The VIAB start-up retarding clutch was one of the most outstanding products on display at Voa IAA this year. It integrates hydraulic coupling and retarding functions in a hydraulic circuit to ensure wear-free start and slow speed. Especially in the case of particularly heavy loads and harsh terrain, it provides highly flexible maneuvering and vehicle starting. Compared with traditional torque converter clutches, the system is compact in structure, light in weight and high in efficiency. It will not overheat even under the strongest working load, on uneven roads or when the vehicle is fully loaded on extreme slopes.

The development of this cutting-edge technology system has placed efficiency, sustainability, and fuel economy at the top of the list since its inception. This system can now be used on the construction vehicles of the Mercedes-Benz Arocs. Both products are energy-saving and resource-saving components for applications on city buses, coaches and trucks. The Voith retarder SWR is the first retarder to use water as a medium. The new DIWA.6 automatic transmission is Voith's response to vehicle cleanliness and increased fuel economy requirements, especially for Euro-6 emissions. The DIWA transmission developed specifically for urban buses is the most prerequisite for the economical operation of vehicles. Compared with the original model, DIWA.6 can save almost 5% of fuel consumption. Through the application of Senso Top, a terrain-related shift program, the working pressure is further reduced, intelligent start-up management is realized, and the use of service brakes at the time of starting is avoided. With an optimized automatic neutral (ANS), the transmission can be disconnected from the engine for longer periods of time, saving fuel even more. A very large number of bus operators in Europe designate our automatic transmissions in urban public transport operating conditions. Many DIWA.6 automatic transmission customers, for example: Wiener Linien and the three major Belgian operators Maatschappij voor het Intercommunaal Vervoer te Brussel (MIVB/STIB), VVM-De Lijn and Société Régionale Wallonne du Transport (SRWT).

Air compressor for Euro-6 engine

The new retarder has economic advantages over local Chinese products and engine brakes, meeting the high braking performance required for trucks and the high economical requirements for short-term return on investment.

VR115CT hydraulic retarder is compact and weighs only 48kg. Its parallel design is suitable for all types of gearboxes.
