Roof fire in Wheeling, 5/10/15

Here's an update from Larry Shapiro:

The Wheeling Fire Department responded to a fire on the roof of a largely vacant, single-story strip mall located at 1786 W. Hintz Road early Sunday morning on May 10, 2015, just after 9 AM. As units approached the scene, they could already see dark smoke rising from the rear of the building. Firefighters from Buffalo Grove Tower 25 positioned their E-One ladder in the alley and began applying a master stream to the fire. Meanwhile, Wheeling firefighters used a 2.5-inch hose line from the roof to tackle the blaze. The fire affected approximately 20 square feet of the roof area.
