Recently, the 2017 China Gear Transmission Industry Development Summit was held in Hangzhou. However, in the process of research and application, people gradually realize that the key to intelligent manufacturing is that the manufacturing system has self-organizing ability, and the integrated intelligence of all links in the manufacturing process must reach the required level. Under the technical conditions at that time, highly intelligent integration was difficult to achieve.
The integration of new generation information technology and advanced manufacturing technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, cloud computing and artificial intelligence and the development and application of innovative technologies have created conditions for opening up “smart islands”, promoting organic integration and realizing self-organized production. Therefore, smart manufacturing has entered a new phase.
Its essence is a new type of production that meets individual needs. It features real-time response to the changing needs and conditions of the plant, supply chain network and customers. Its technology is a fusion of integrated technology systems.
Dr. Yin Feng, Director of the Intelligent Manufacturing Research Office of the Institute of Equipment Industry, CCID Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, was invited to give a speech entitled “Intelligent Manufacturing Development Trends and Countermeasures” at the conference: “Intelligent manufacturing content is very Rich and wide-ranging, both at home and abroad are in the exploratory stage. Germany believes that it takes at least 10 to 15 years to truly realize smart manufacturing. Therefore, we must develop smart manufacturing as a long-term strategic task."
Li Shengqi, secretary general of China Automotive Automatic Transmission Innovation Alliance and gear industry expert, said in an interview: "At present, the key common technologies and equipment of the domestic automotive gear industry are subject to enterprises in developed countries, and the smart manufacturing standards, software, network and information security are weak. The new model of intelligent manufacturing is not mature enough, the supply of system solutions is insufficient, and there are no intelligent manufacturing talents of international leading enterprises and cross-border integration. Faced with these outstanding problems, the domestic automobile gear industry develops intelligent manufacturing, we must persist in grasping the innovation drive. Implementing intelligent manufacturing engineering, focusing on improving the safety and controllability of key technical equipment, focusing on strengthening the basic support capabilities, focusing on improving the level of integration and application, and building a new manufacturing system."
