The construction content of the tunnel during the transition period mainly includes: short-circuiting of the main and auxiliary wells; modification of the lifting, ventilation, drainage and compression equipment for the wellbore excavation; establishment of the underground transportation, water supply and power supply system; transformation of the labor organization.

(1) Short-circuiting of the main and auxiliary wells

After the main and auxiliary shafts are constructed to the level of the bottom of the well, the short-circuit through should be carried out first. The construction of the head is generally half a month.

(2) Improvement of upgrading facilities

After the two wells of the main well and the auxiliary shaft pass through, the main well is usually used to carry out the temporary cage lifting system transformation.

The main principle of the modification: to ensure a short transition period, so that the bottom hole yard and the main roadway can be started as soon as possible; the installation of the permanent auxiliary equipment of the main and auxiliary shafts and the modification of the lifting facilities should be connected with each other; the modified lifting equipment should ensure the bottom of the well All the tasks of the yard and the roadway development period.

(3) Transformation of transportation and transportation systems

The transformation of the transportation and transportation system during the transition period of the tunnel is generally divided into three stages according to the modification of the temporary cage by the main well:

1. The main and auxiliary shafts are not connected: they are still lifted by buckets.

2. Auxiliary well bucket lifting period: transported by V-shaped mine car.

3. Temporary cage cage lifting period of main shaft: U-shaped mine car transportation is used. At this time, the ground should be equipped with a temporary cage to be turned over, and the V-shaped mine car is transported between the cage and the drainage pit.

(4) Modification of ventilation facilities

There are two options for the modification of ventilation facilities:

1. Remove the main shaft air duct and extend the auxiliary shaft air duct. It is suitable for shallow wells with a depth of less than 200m.

2. Remove the original air duct in the main and auxiliary wells, and move the main fan to the main and auxiliary wells in the underground to pass through the communication lane to realize the ventilation system of the main well inlet and the auxiliary shaft. Suitable for deep well conditions.

It should be noted that the number of working faces that are simultaneously ventilated in series must not exceed three. When the time exceeds, the blasting sequence of each working surface must be carried out first and then, and personnel should be withdrawn at the same time.

(5) Modification of drainage facilities

The renovation of drainage facilities during the transition period can generally be divided into three main stages:

1. Before the main and auxiliary wells are connected, the original sinking pump is still used, and the main and auxiliary wells are drained outside.

2. The main well is modified into a temporary cage period. The main well water is discharged from the horizontal pump to the bottom of the auxiliary shaft. According to the water volume and water pressure, the auxiliary well pump or the alternative pump is used for drainage.

3. During the lifting period of the main well temporary cage, a temporary horizontal pump can be installed outside the auxiliary shaft of the auxiliary shaft, and the bottom of the auxiliary well is absorbed by water, and the water is discharged from the surface through the drainage pipe laid in the communication roadway and the main well. After the permanent equipment of the auxiliary shaft is completed, it should be drained by permanent drainage facilities such as permanent water tanks and pump houses.
