Weichai's quality management philosophy has undergone four changes and has continued to evolve. From the change of “simple quality” to “big quality” concept, employees no longer only pay attention to the quality of products and services, promote excellence performance standards through ISO/TS16949, and rely on operational quality standards to ensure product quality; from defensive quality management to prevention The change of sexual quality management no longer depends on quality inspection of products to ensure quality, process auditing, error prevention techniques, monitoring of key parameters and other measures to prevent quality risks; from quality personnel participation to full participation transformation, quality improvement and problems The processing is no longer just the responsibility of the quality department. Build a continuous quality improvement system

Weichai Power regularly scrutinizes and designs the main processes of the company, and in particular, processes such as advanced product quality planning and supplier selection and evaluation are improved every year. The company continuously improves and optimizes processes to maintain the efficient operation of the company. Use quality management systems to quickly and accurately process various quality information. Through the implementation of the Lean Six Sigma project and implementation of the Weichai Operation System (WOS) and other quality management methods, employees at all levels are organized to carry out quality improvement activities.

In 2007, Weichai introduced six sigma management, first piloting it in production units, and using one or two projects of pilot units as starting points. These “points” are linked together and become “line” throughout these pilot units. With the advancement of the project and the increase of participating units, the “line” is finally formed into a “face”, and “face” finally forms the “body”, which enables the Six Sigma management concept to be profoundly applied to all aspects of the enterprise, forming a brand-new working concept. platform. Forward quality control line

Weichai was the first to implement the ISO/TS16949 concept in the industry. The use of quality process control, from product design and development to process design, minimizes the risk of quality management issues. Supplier quality management starts with the selection of new suppliers, and raises the threshold, category A, and important one-component suppliers, and requires ISO/TS16949 quality certification; regular audits are conducted to advance the quality control line of suppliers. Strengthen the application of engineering, and provide high-quality products to the host with higher quality, effectively reducing the zero-kilometer defect caused by the application of supporting problems.

Establish mutually beneficial and win-win supply relationships with suppliers. First of all, a research and development community was established. In the initial stage of new product development, suppliers were invited to participate in product development and the latest technologies were expanded into products. At present, 44 R&D communities have been established, and more than 50 projects have been jointly developed each year. Secondly, in the existing suppliers, suppliers with good product quality control, excellent on-site management, and comprehensive strength are selected as “benchmarking companies,” and other companies are organized to observe and enhance the overall level of the industrial chain. In order to regulate supply side production management and process control, Weichai also formulated the "Specialized Line Management Measures" to form a special evaluation team to carry out on-site assessment of suppliers, and also to implement the Weichai quality system certification system for suppliers' products.

Create quality culture
