Electromagnetic Flowmeter Common Alarm Failure Analysis

First, no electromagnetic flowmeter display
1. Check if the power is on;
2. Check that the power fuse is intact;
3. Check whether the supply voltage meets the requirements;
4. Check whether the display contrast adjustment can be adjusted and whether the adjustment is appropriate;
5. If the above three items are all normal, the fourth item of display contrast adjustment cannot be adjusted. Please send the instrument to the manufacturer for repair.
Second, electromagnetic flowmeter excitation alarm
1. Is the excitation wiring EX1 and EX2 open?
2. The total resistance of the sensor excitation coil is less than 150Ω;
3. If both a and b are normal, the converter is faulty;
Third, electromagnetic flowmeter empty alarm
1. Measure whether the fluid is full of sensor measuring tubes;
2. Use a wire to short-circuit the converter signal input terminals SIG1, SIG2, and IGGND. At this time, if the empty tube alarm is cancelled, the converter is normal, which may be the low conductivity of the measured fluid or the empty tube threshold and the empty tube. Range setting error;
3. Check the signal connection is correct;
4. Check if the sensor electrode is normal.
1 Make the flow rate zero, observe that the conductivity ratio should be less than 100%
2 In the case of flow, measure the resistance of terminals SIG1 and SIG2 to SIGGND, respectively, which should be less than 50KΩ (water is the measured value for the medium. It is best to use a hand multimeter to measure, and you can see the charge and discharge circuit in the measurement process).
5. Use a multimeter to measure the DC voltage between DS1 and DS2 should be less than 1V, otherwise the sensor electrode is contaminated and should be cleaned.
Fourth, the electromagnetic flowmeter limit alarm
The upper limit alarm indicates that both the output current and the output frequency (or pulse) are beyond the limit. Increasing the process range can undo the upper limit alarm.
Fifth, the electromagnetic flow meter limit alarm
The lower limit alarm indicates that the output current and output frequency (or pulse) are out of limits. Lowering the flow range can undo the lower limit alarm.
