German company to build 3 liquefied natural gas plants in Iran

The Iranian State News Agency (IRNA) reported on July 23 that a famous German company recently signed an agreement with the Iranian side on investing 100 million euros (156.9 million US dollars) to build 3 liquefied natural gas plants in Iran.
The Iranian state news agency IRNA quoted the German daily Siegener Zeitung as saying that Germany’s Steiner GmbH has received orders from Iran for the construction of liquefied natural gas facilities. These facilities will eventually be installed in southern Iran.
IRNA said that each LNG plant will have a production capacity of 10,000 barrels of liquefied natural gas per day.
According to IRNA, Steiner GmbH, headquartered in Siegen, Germany, is currently building chemical and petrochemical plants in many countries, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, China, and Russia.
