The Institute of Political Economy at the University of Massachusetts recently completed a statistical report listing 100 major polluters that harm the U.S. environment. Many of the world's top 500 companies appeared in this ranking. The top ones included General Electric, Kodak, and Tao. Chemicals, DuPont, BASF and other large companies. In addition, some large pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer and Sanofi-Aventis are also impressively listed.
