The largest domestic pseudoboehmite project with an investment of 200 million yuan and an annual output of 50,000 tons was recently started construction in the Tiantan Aluminum Industrial Park in Sanmenxia City, Henan Province.
The project adopts the most advanced international production technology. The product can be widely used in the petrochemical industry catalyst and automobile exhaust gas purification, in line with the national circular economy industrial policy. The first phase of the project will produce 15,000 tons of pseudoboehmite annually and is scheduled to be completed in June 2011. The second phase will have an annual output of 35,000 tons and it is planned to be completed by the end of 2012. After the project is completed, the annual sales income will be 500 million yuan and profits and taxes will be 80 million yuan.
