Apartment fire in Evanston, 2-19-21

Howard Street A fire broke out in an apartment on the west side of Evanston early this morning, prompting a quick response from local firefighters. The incident occurred around 4:30 AM, and emergency crews arrived on the scene shortly after receiving the call. Residents were evacuated safely, and no injuries have been reported so far. The fire was contained to a single unit, but the building remained under investigation as crews worked to ensure all areas were clear of smoke and potential hazards. A Pierce ladder truck was seen on the scene, helping with the operation.
