Evanston box alarm – an apartment fire broke out at 2137 W. Howard Street, prompting emergency crews to respond quickly to the scene. Firefighters arrived on the scene and worked diligently to contain the blaze, which was reported to be spreading through the upper floors of the building.
A Pierce ladder truck was seen stationed at the location, assisting with rescue efforts and providing support for firefighters working from above. The incident remains under investigation, and no casualties have been reported at this time.
