For over thirty years, Marjorie Leigh Bomben has served with the Chicago Fire Department, beginning her career as a paramedic trainee working in some of the city’s most challenging neighborhoods. Now holding the position of Paramedic Field Chief, she reflects on three decades of service in her new book, It’s Not the Trauma, It’s the Drama.
