New engine for Dekalb

The DeKalb Fire Department in Illinois recently welcomed their first of two new Rosenbauer Group twin-engine fire trucks! This marks a major milestone for the department, as it's the very first time they've added such advanced equipment to their fleet. A big thank you goes out to Chief Mike Thomas, the brave firefighters of DeKalb FD, and the City of DeKalb for trusting us at Sentinel Emergency Solutions and Rosenbauer America!

Engine Features Include:

• Rosenbauer EXT Crossfire aluminum body with a lifetime transferable warranty
• Rosenbauer Commander Chassis
• 750 gallons of water capacity
• 1500-GPM pump system
• Rosenbauer CleanAir Filtration System for improved air quality and efficiency

This is one of two units on order. The second truck is expected to arrive in November. Both were demo models that were being built and purchased early by DeKalb to expedite delivery and ensure faster deployment.
