Recently, Anhui Science and Technology Department commissioned the Wuhu Science and Technology Bureau to host the Yuchai United Power YC6K13N natural gas engine new product appraisal meeting in Wuhu City. Experts at the meeting listened to the report of the project team, reviewed relevant materials, reviewed prototypes and production sites. After questioning and discussion, the appraisal committee unanimously agreed that the YC6K13N natural gas engine passed the appraisal of new products in Anhui Province.
Entrusted by the Science and Technology Department of Anhui Province, Zhu Shoufa, Director of Science and Technology Bureau of Wuhu City presided over the meeting. Professors Zuo Chengji and Sun Jun from Hefei University of Technology, Liang Huaping, Chairman of Anhui Association of Automobile Industry, Gao Hong from Anhui University of Engineering, etc. came from teaching and research. Seven experts from three aspects of production and production attended the meeting to form an appraisal committee. Wuhu Municipal Science and Technology Bureau and Sanshan District Science and Technology Bureau chief leaders attended the appraisal meeting.
The leaders and experts who participated in the appraisal meeting visited the United Power Production Workshop first, carefully examined the prototype, and heard reports and product technology introduction of R&D by United Power Company. In the end, experts agreed that YC6K13N natural gas engines passed Anhui Province's new product appraisal and agreed that the YC6K13N natural gas engine is the first domestically developed 6-cylinder 13-liter (YC6K13N) natural gas high-power engine that can meet the heavy truck and bus market demand.
The product adopts the independently developed ESI gas injection system, high-efficiency in-cylinder braking and reverse cross-flow cooling technology, and integrates advanced technologies such as four-valve overhead camshaft, intelligent air supply, lean combustion, and booster intercooling, and has obtained a number of advanced technologies. The national patent, the overall technical level of the product is leading in China, and the prototype has been inspected by the National Automobile Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Xiangyang). The indicators such as exhaust pollutants and crankcase pollutants are in compliance with the relevant national standards. In addition, after being used by users in Guangdong Shaoguan, Zhejiang Shangyu, etc., the product generally reflects that the whole product has stable performance, strong power, energy conservation and environmental protection, and high reliability.
