60% reduction of new standard pollutants
It is reported that the motor vehicles that increase the environmental protection registration threshold are diesel vehicles with a maximum total mass of no more than 3,500 kilograms and gasoline vehicles with a maximum total mass of more than 3,500 kilograms. As early as 2011, Nanjing implemented the National IV standard for light-duty gasoline vehicles. This is the second time to increase the environmental protection registration threshold for new vehicles. Compared with the three national standards, the emission of exhaust pollutants from the State Fourth Automobile is less. Vehicle emissions include HC (hydrocarbons), NOx (nitrogen oxides), CO (carbon monoxide), and PM (particulate matter). Reserve a two-month transition period for the owner
After the implementation of the national standard, new cars that do not meet the standards will not be able to apply for a license. In addition, foreign companies that have come to study abroad, court decisions, and light-chai heavy-duty vehicles that are not up to the national standard for purposes such as debt repayment or donation cannot transfer their households to Nanjing.
The environmental protection standard was increased, and the environmental protection department reserved a two-month transition period for the owner, that is, the owner who has signed the contract has not yet obtained the car. If the buyer is a national standard car, he only needs to visit the city before May 31st. Motor vehicle exhaust monitoring center registration and registration can still be on the card. The National III emission vehicles that are stocked by vendors also comply with such registration and filing procedures.
At present, only 110 vehicles and three new cars are registered

According to the staff of the center, the new cars for gasoline vehicles sold in Nanjing have all reached the national standard. The environmental protection department introduced that, in addition to the new vehicle registration standards, China’s second- and third-tier vehicles are gradually withdrawn from the market, and Nanjing has implemented strict exhaust gas testing at the same time as in-use motor vehicles. Yellow-label vehicles and non-standard vehicles that do not meet emission standards are eliminated.
