Working fire in Justice, 1-18-16 (more)

I responded to a call in an area I donâ€™t often visit. It was a full-scale fire response for a fire in a double-wide mobile home located inside a large trailer park in the town of Justice, now served by the Roberts Park Fire Protection District. The conditions were extremely cold, and there were severe water supply issues, which made this a long and challenging operation. They had to use water from two engine company booster tanks and eventually found a working hydrant several hundred feet away. In the end, they set up a tower because the collapsed roof prevented ground-based exterior streams from reaching the fire. All in all, it was a tough job on a really miserable day.
