Fatal fire in Naperville, 12-18-13

Sean Burke, a resident of Field Court, described how he first noticed small flames shortly after waking up. Within 15 minutes, the fire had grown significantly, and he could hear firefighters on their radios discussing people trapped upstairs. He also saw multiple ambulances on the scene, though they weren’t immediately transporting anyone. Firefighters eventually re-entered the home once it was safe, only to find that the second floor had collapsed. They discovered two bodies in the basement, confirming the loss of life.
