On May 8, the Economic and Information Technology Commission of Jiangsu Province held a press conference and issued a total of 9 plans for the second batch of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan†to guide the industrial restructuring and upgrading of the province during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan†period. Among them, Jiangsu Province's "12th Five-Year Plan for Industrial Transformation and Upgrading Outline" proposes that by 2015, the province's industrial structure will continue to be optimized and its ability to innovate will be significantly improved, and the existing over 40,000 industrial enterprises above designated size will undergo phased transformation and upgrading. Wanjia Science and Technology and high-growth small and micro enterprises have entered the ranks of enterprises above designated size. In addition, five aspects including scale efficiency, innovation ability, industrial structure, integration and green manufacturing, and 29 types of anticipatory and binding indicators have also been proposed.
The “Twelfth Five-Year Development Plan for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Jiangsu Province†proposes that by 2015, the structural adjustment and transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises must achieve significant results, the market competitiveness and risk resistance must be significantly enhanced, and the development environment must be more optimized. The role of contribution and innovation in employment should be steadily improved. The characteristics of industrial agglomeration and enterprise cluster development should be more distinct, and the overall quality and development vitality should be significantly improved.
