In the first quarter of this year, the construction of key projects in the province of Fujian maintained a sustained and rapid growth in investment. The industrial science and technology sector completed a total investment of 28.8 billion yuan and completed 33.7% of the annual plan. Among them, petrochemical projects completed an investment of 4.76 billion yuan, accounting for 29.3% of the annual plan, and the project is progressing smoothly.
At present, 35 key industrial and technological projects in Fujian have started, 7 of which have been built or partially put into operation. The key projects related to the petrochemical industry include the construction of a CNOOC Fujian grab service center, Zhongjing Petrochemical 350,000 tons/year polypropylene, and Zhongjiang Petrochemical 350,000 tons/year polypropylene. In addition, the Gulei Petrochemical PX and PTA project entered the trial production acceptance stage, plans to test production in the first half; Fujian United Petrochemical Corporation ethylene removal bottleneck transformation and supporting, Shishi PTA second phase and other projects and strive to start construction during the year.
