A Delicious Recipe for Rotisserie Tri-Tip

Tri-Tip Recipe

  • 1 (2 pounds) beef tri-tip roast
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons granulated garlic

  1. Season the tri-tip generously and evenly with sea salt, black pepper, and garlic.
  2. Skewer the tri-tip on a rotisserie spit and let it rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes before grilling.
  3. Attach the rotisserie spit to your grill, making sure the meat is balanced so it rotates smoothly.
  4. Place a drip pan underneath the tri-tip to catch any juices and keep your grill clean.
  5. Turn on the rotisserie motor and start the grill. Cook with the lid closed, beginning on high heat to sear the meat, then reduce to medium. The tri-tip should take about 20–25 minutes for medium-rare.

Check the internal temperature of the thickest part of the tri-tip; it should reach 135°F for medium-rare.

Let the tri-tip rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain. Serve and enjoy!
